James Christopher Frey was born in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He is an American novelist, memoirist, screenwriter and the founder and CEO of Full Fathom Five, a transmedia production company responsible for the young adult series "The Lorien Legacies" it had 7 books and was written by Frey and others, under the collective pen name Pittacus Lore. He has written several books include: A Million Little Pieces(memoir), My Friend Leonard(memoir), Bright Shiny Morning(novel), Endgame: The Calling(novel, with Nils Johnson-Shelton), The Final Testament of the Holy Bible(novel), Endgame: Sky Key(novel, with Nils Johnson-Shelton), and Rules of the Game(novel). Frey's first book of the series, I Am Number Four, was made into a feature film by DreamWorks Studios. He has written several films include: Sugar: The Fall of the West(also director) and Kissing a Fool.
