John Burnham Schwartz is an American novelist and screenwriter. He studied at Harvard University. He has written several novels include: Bicycle Days, Reservation Road, Claire Marvel, The Commoner, and Northwest Corner. He has written several films include: Reservation Road and The Wizard of Lies. He has taught at Harvard, the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop, and Sarah Lawrence College. He married to screenwriter and food writer Aleksandra Crapanzano. They have one son.
