Jamie Ford was born in Eureka, California, USA. He is an American author and novelist. He is best known for his debut novel, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. The book received positive reviews after its release, and was also awarded best “Adult Fiction” book at the 2010 Asian/Pacific American Awards for Literature. He has written other novels include: Songs of Willow Frost and Love and Other Consolation Prizes. He has written other books include: Keiko: Roman, The Nature of Grace, A Social Theory of the WTO, Middle, Lost, and Found, and Out of the Mouth of Sydney.
