John Middleton Murry Jr. was an English writer who used the names Colin Murry and Richard Cowper. He studied at Rendcomb College in Gloucestershire and Brasenose College, Oxford. He wrote several novels include: The Twilight of Briareus, The Road to Corlay (Nominations: Nebula Award for Best Novel, Locus Award for Best Science Fiction Novel), A Dream of Kinship, and A Tapestry of Time. He wrote several short story collections include: The Custodians, The Web of the Magi, and The Tithonian Factor.
