Francoise Sagan was born in Cajarc, France. She was a French novelist and playwright. Her best-known novel was her first–Bonjour Tristesse–which was written when she was a teenager. She wrote several novels include: A Certain Smile, Aimez-vous Brahms?, La Chamade, Lost Profile, Those without shadows, The Unmade Bed, Sunlight on Cold Water, The Painted Lady, Engagements of the Heart, The Leash, and A Fleeting Sorrow.
