John S. Pistole was born in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He is an American politician, lawyer and educator. He is the former administrator of the United States Transportation Security Administration and a former deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He practiced law for two years before joining the FBI in 1983. He earned a BA degree from Anderson University. He earned a law degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He is currently the president of Anderson University.
