Jo Linsdell was born in Gillingham, Kent, England. She is a British-born Italian author and Illustrator. She left England and moved to Rome, Italy in June 2001, where she now lives with her Italian husband and their two young sons. She has written several books include: The 'KOSMOS' series, the best selling children's picture story books 'Out and About at the Zoo', 'Fairy May' and 'The Box', plus non fiction books'Italian for Tourists', A Guide to Weddings in Italy', and 'How to be Twittertastic'. She is also the illustrator of the "A Birthday Clown for Archer" books written by Kathy Mashburn and the "Jasmine Dreams" series written by Maria Rochelle.
