Heather Anne Mills was born in Aldershot, Hampshire, England. She is an English activist, model, businesswoman, Philanthropist, and Reality Television Star. In 1986, Heather set up a modeling agency as well as undertaking modeling assignments herself. She took part in a shoot for Die Freuden der Liebe, a German sex manual. She came to public attention in 1993, when a collision with a police motorcycle in London resulted in the amputation of her left leg below the knee. In 2002, she married famed Beatles member Sir Paul McCartney after meeting him at a charity event a few years earlier. Together they had one daughter, and then divorced in 2006. The next year she competed on the reality television show Dancing with the Stars. She was a contestant on another dancing show in 2009, Dancing on Ice.
