Frederick William "Fred" Schneider III was born in Newark, New Jersey, USA. He is an American singer, songwriter, and vocalist, best known as the frontman of the rock band the B-52's, of which he is a founding member. He is well known for his sprechgesang, which he developed from reciting poetry over guitars. He also worked on a side project called the Superions. The group released a self-titled EP and the album Destination... Christmas! His albums list shown below: Fred Schneider and the Shake Society, and Just Fred.
