Eric Taylor was born in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter. He is known for his anecdotal songs which often take the form of short stories. In addition to Taylor's seven solo releases, his songs have been recorded by Nanci Griffith, Lyle Lovett and many others. Taylor's most recent release was Studio 10 in 2013, which was recorded at the Red Shack Studio in Houston and features nine original songs and a cover of Tim Grimm's "Cover These Bones."
