She is an American actress known for her television roles, including starring as Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spinoff series Angel. She starred in two Fox series, Tru Calling and Dollhouse. She was chosen in a five-month search for the lead role of Alice in the film That Night. Maxim magazine ranked Dushku 6th on the "Hot 100 Women of 2009" list. She was nominated in 2009 for a Scream Award for Best Science Fiction Actress for her role of Echo.
