Earl Kemp Long was born in Winnfield, Louisiana. He was an American politician and the 45th Governor of Louisiana for three non-consecutive terms. He was also elected as lieutenant governor, serving from 1936 to 1939. He graduated from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
