David Coleman Dukes was born in San Francisco, California. He was an American actor. He starred in the mini-series The Winds of War in the 1980s, and was a frequent television guest star, and appeared later in life in recurring roles on shows such as Pauly, Sisters and Dawson's Creek. He received an Emmy nomination for best supporting actor for his role in The Josephine Baker Story; and appeared as Arthur Miller in Norma Jean & Marilyn.
