Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan was born in Ogbia, Bayelsa, Nigeria. He is the 14th President of Nigeria, having served from 2010 to 2015. He served as Vice-President of Nigeria from 2007 to 2010 and as Governor of Bayelsa State from 2005 to 2007. He earned a B.Sc. degree in Zoology in which he attained Second Class Honours. He earned an M.Sc. degree in Hydrobiology and Fisheries biology, and a Ph.D. degree in Zoology from the University of Port Harcourt.
