Henry George Bohn was born in London, England. He was a British publisher and translator. He is principally remembered for the Bohn's Libraries which he inaugurated. He translated several volumes for his ‘Foreign Classics’ series, compiled a Dictionary of Quotations and A Bibliographical Account of the works of Shakespeare.
