Helen Gurley Brown was born in Green Forest, Arkansas, USA. She was an American author, editor and businesswoman. She was the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine for 32 years. She graduated from Woodbury Business College in 1941. She worked for Foote, Cone & Belding advertising agency as a secretary.
