John McLaughlin Quotes

John McLaughlin, also known as Mahavishnu John McLaughlin was born in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. He is an English guitarist and musician whose extremely loud, highly energetic, eclectic soloing made him one of the most popular and influential jazz-rock musicians. He began his career playing blues and rock in London in the early 1960s and went on to play free jazz with important British figures before moving to the United States in 1969. He works with many music groups (as guitarist), including Mahavishnu Orchestra, Shakti, and Remember Shakti.
