Curtis Charles Flood was born in Houston, Texas. He was a Major League Baseball center fielder who spent 15-seasons in the major leagues playing for the Cincinnati Redlegs, St. Louis Cardinals, and Washington Senators. He was an All-Star for three seasons and Gold Glove winner for seven consecutive seasons.
